4. Diagnostic Procedures

The following diagnostic procedures assume that at least one modem is installed in

the 2201 to be able to troubleshoot and isolate a defective modem, power supply or

monitor card.

Required Equipment

• Multimeter - (for voltage, resistance and continuity tests)

5 If any fuse is bad, replace it with a good fuse of the proper rating. If the

power supply still blows the fuse, unplug all the cards from the chassis,

replace the defective fuse, and turn on the power. If the fuse still blows,

replace the chassis.
